Sept 2017 - Jan 2019
Event Manager, Vaults
Whilst working towards achieving my A-Levels, my time was also spent hosting a series of sixth form events within The Vaults, a renowned venue in Cardiff notoriously known for its underground bank vault layout. The inspiration from these events came from what we recognised as a lack of activities for teenagers within our area. Our events became popular very quickly and sold out almost every time, with a capacity of 650 people. As event manager, my duties involved managing the overall management of the event, this includes:
Forseeing all event operations, including, but not limited to; sales, health and safety, staff management, running of the event
Planning the event
Recruiting DJ's and staff
Marketing the event
Driving sales and handling customer service enquires

Apr 2016Â - Sept 2019
Promoter, Pollen (formerly Verve)
Alongside studying to achieve my A-Levels, I spent my free-time working alongside Pollen selling tickets for some of the UK's biggest events, including the likes of Reading & Leeds Festival, Parklife and many more. General tasks include tracking sales, consistent social media marketing and discussing with clients. In this role, sale rates will depend on perseverance, as the more effort you put in, the higher the rewards. For some events I would find myself reaching 60+ sales including the 2019 Reading & Leeds campaign when I was rewarded as one of the top 5 sellers out of 100+ promoters.
